US Ambassador to Jordan Alice Wells said that the international coalition for fighting Daesh will not be engaged in a ground war with this terrorist group during the current phase.
The coalition will keep its strategy of providing aid for the countries fighting Daesh, she underlined.
In statements to 'Al Ghad' Jordanian Newspaper published on Thursday, Wells underscored that the US is committed to backing the moderate Syrian and Kurdish forces as well as the troops in Iraq to combat this extremist organization.
Asked about the US aid to Jordan in the military field, the US diplomat said that her country raised it during the current year to reach $ 3.850 million so as to equip and increase the military skills of the Jordanian forces.
She further reiterated that the US is keen on maintaining security and stability of Jordan.
