The US embassy in Cairo
Cairo - MENA

The US embassy in Cairo on Tuesday announced its support for launching several events and activities that are aimed at creating jobs for the unemployed nationwide in Egypt.

The embassy's stance was motivated by the success of similar events which it had organized in Cairo over the past three years.

The first event will be held on November 17 in an Aswan hotel, while the second will be held in Cairo in March and the third in Alexandria in April next year.

According to Charge d'Affaires of the US embassy here Thomas Goldberger, Washington is seeking to be a partner of Egypt and its people through creating jobs for skilled Egyptian workers

The three events will see the participation of institutions that have hundreds of vacant jobs.

They will also include training sessions for job seekers.
