Water level of Three Gorges Reservoir reaches 170 meters

Cargo ships move on the Three Gorges Reservoir in Yichang City, central China's Hubei Province, Oct. 10, 2011. The Three Gorges Dam, the world's largest water control and hydropower project which spans China's Yangtze River, began storing water on Sept. 10, 2011, and the water level was expected to reach its designed full capacity of 175 meters by the end of October or early November. The current water level of the Three Gorges Reservoir has reached 170 meters as of Monday
