Yemen and the United Nations Development Programme(UNDP) signed here on Thursday an agreement to fund the project to empower youtheconomically (the phase II) at a total cost of $ 10.5 million.The project, which is jointly-funded by the UNDP, the governments of Japan, Japan,South Korea and the Netherlands and the organizations of Spark and Qatar'sSilatech, aims to create job opportunities for youth.The agreement was signed by Minister of Planning and International CooperationDr. Mohammed al-Sa'adi , Minister of Industry and Trade Dr. Saad al-Din Ali Bin Taliband the Resident Representative of the UNDP in Yemen Paolo Lembo.
