Foreign Minister Dr. Abu Bakr al-Qirbi met on MondayCharge d'Affairs of the U.S. Embassy in Sana'a, Karen Sasahara.In the meeting, Dr. al-Qirbi and Sasahara discussed issues of common concern, inforefront of which the latest developments at the national arena, especially after thesuccessful convening of the 7th meeting of Friends of Yemen recently hosted by theBritish capital London.The two sides underlined the importance of the continuation of the regional andinternational support to the political process and the transition phases included inthe GCC-brokered initiative and its executive mechanism.
