The 3-hour-plus Emmy Awards telecast was seen by an average of 17.6 million viewers in the United States, CBS announced Monday. Sunday night's program delivered the Emmy broadcast's largest audience since 2005. The network did not say what the viewership was then. Neil Patrick Harris served as host of the most recent ceremony, which saw "Breaking Bad" named Best Drama, "Modern Family" Best Comedy and "Behind the Candelabra" Best TV Movie or Miniseries.
