Mary J Blige has spoken out about the mishandling of funds for her charity. The singer's foundation was hit with a $250,000 lawsuit recently and Mary says it down to the people who were handling her finances poorly. Mary and the Steve Stoute Foundation for the Advancement of Women (FFAWN) is being sued by TD Bank over a loan the organisation took out in June 2011 for a quarter million dollars. TMZ reports that FFAWN agreed to repay the loan by December 2011 but so far have only paid $368.33. "As Founder and CEO of FFAWN, I am ultimately responsible for anything that goes wrong," Mary said in a statement. "The problem is that I didn't have the right people in the right places doing the right things. This should have never been allowed to happen, but it did and now we are fixing it." Mary added that she was now working with a new team of experts to "get the Foundation back on track, rectify outstanding issues, and make good on all of FFAWN's obligations."
