Bristol Palin, daughter of former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, has come to the defense of fellow reality TV star Phil Robertson of "Duck Dynasty." In a post on her blog, Palin chastised A&E for suspending Robertson indefinitely from the hit show, CBS News reported Friday. Her mother weighed in earlier this week. "I think it's so hypocritical how the LGBT community expects every single flippen person to agree with their life style," Bristol wrote in a post headlined "Leave Phil Robertson Alone! "This flies in the face of what makes America great -- people can have their own beliefs and own opinions and their own ways of life. Everyone needs to treat others like God would, with love. It goes both ways." Bristol Palin starred in a short-lived show last year about life with her son, "Bristol Palin: Life's a Tripp." Robertson, founder of duck-call manufacturer Duck Commander Co., told GQ in an interview "the adulterers, the idolaters, the male prostitutes, the homosexual offenders, the greedy, the drunkards, the slanderers, the swindlers -- they won't inherit the kingdom of God." Robertson held similar views before he became a star. A videotape posted on YouTube shows him making similar remarks in an appearance in 2010 at a dinner at the Berean Bible Church in Lower Pottsgrove, Pa., the (Pottstown) Mercury reported. In the GQ interview, Robertson also said blacks in Louisiana were content in the segregated South: "They were godly; they were happy; no one was singing the blues." A producer told the Los Angeles Times A&E warned Robertson he should keep his views on certain issues to himself.
