U.S. radio icon Casey Kasem has only a few months to live, his wife Jean said. The Kasems were sued by a former caregiver, Hilda Loza, who said the couple mistreated her while she was under their employment. The case was heard Friday and Jean Kasem didn't appear, TMZ reported. Her lawyer appeared on her behalf, saying Jean wanted a continuance for a few months because that's how long it would take for "the situation to resolve or end, unfortunately." Jean clarified that statement with legal documents she submitted, saying "My husband is terminally ill and unable to leave home." The 81-year-old former "American Top 40" host has advanced Parkinson's disease. Loza's case was thrown out because she didn't properly serve the lawsuit, TMZ reported.
