The Tunisian actress Hind Sabry, has received the best Arabic actress award in 2011 in "Murex D'or", for her role in the movie “Asmaa". The award is the most prestigious Lebanese prize and considered one of the most important Arabic awards, as it relies on the public's vote as well as the vote of a special jury. Sabry has received many awards for her role in the same movie from several international festivals in Egypt, the US, Belgium and most recently from the Catholic Festival of Cinema. Sabry continues to shoot her new series "Vertejo" which will be screened in Ramadan. The film will co-star Nedal al-Shafi, Yosra Lozi, Nahed Sibai, Ahmed Hatem, Darren Haddad, Ayman Qaysona, Sayed Rajab, Mai Selim, Osama Abbas, Salwa Khattab, and Sabri Abdel-Moneim. The series is based on the novel "Vertejo" by Ahmed Murad, which has sold many copies since its publication. The scenario and the dialogue is written by Mohammed Nair and directed by Osman Abu Laban in their second collaboration since "El Mowaten X"-(Citizen X), which achieved huge success last Ramadan. The film tells the story of a young female wedding photographer, who took pictures of a deadly fight between business leaders in Egypt in a bar called "Vertejo". The photographer escapes from the killers to begin an incredible journey, during which time many secrets and scandals are revealed.
