Actress Kate Winslet isn't worried that her two divorces will affect her three children in a negative way, instead she believes it will teach them about struggle.
Winslet, 39, opened up about life after two marriages and three children from three different fathers -- she's a parent to Mia, 14, Joe, 11, and Bear, 1 -- during her cover interview for the March issue of Harper's Bazaar U.K., where she also unveiled she's very happy with her life.
Luckily, Winslet is happy with who she is and feels "a sense of responsibility" to encourage other women to feel the same way.
"Take having the baby, for instance. Have I actively been on a diet to lose my baby weight? No, I haven't. I genuinely bloody haven't," she said.
"Life is just too short to be spending time focusing on things like that. I want to keep my health and my sanity and be well fed and happy," Winslet continued. "I was nowhere near my pre-pregnancy shape when Bear was 12 weeks old – I was breastfeeding, apart from anything else, and hungry all the time – and nor would I have wanted to be."
The Divergent star welcomed Bear, her third child and first with husband, Ned RocknRoll, in December 2013. The couple wed in September 2012. Winslet will return to the big screen in March when she reprises her role as Jeanine Matthews in Insurgent.
The March issue of Bazaar is on stands now.
