Kendall Jenner and Cara Delevingne won't be joining the Angels in London on Dec. 9 for the anticipated Victoria's Secret Fashion show, instead, the It Girls will be walking the runway for Chanel in Austria that same day.
"It's a big deal in the modeling world that Kendall and Cara are skipping the Victoria Secret Fashion Show to go to Austria and walk in Karl [Lagerfeld's] show," a source told People magazine.
The situation is particularly intriguing because Jenner had expressed interest in working with the lingerie brand in the past and Delevigne participated in last year's show, but according to the insider, Jenner is Lagerfeld's "new girl."
"It's a bold statement, because its been Kendall's dream to walk in Victoria's Secret. But she followed in her BFF Cara's footsteps and took her advice to go with Karl," added the source.
However, there might still be a chance for the girls to be featured in both shows as shown by a quick pitstop they made in London Monday.
Delevingne, who has been documenting her adventures in Austria on Instagram, shared a photo of herself and Jenner touching down in London in a private jet.
"LONDON!!! #INANOUT" she captioned the image, which People magazine speculates might be a hint that the two were in town for a quick fitting or recording footage that will be featured during the show.
