One person is thrilled about Kim Kardashian's recent engagement for basketball player Kris Humphries, her ex-boyfriend, Reggie Bush. Twenty-six-year-old Reggie is said to have cancelled a number of public appearances in the wake of the engagement news, as friends say he didn't expect Kim – who has only been dating Kris for six months – to move on so fast. "We heard Kim got engaged, so we think that's why [Reggie] didn't turn up,” spilled a source about Reggie's mysterious non-appearance at a Gumball Rally 3000 bash in London, last week. "He must be pretty cut up. He sounded like he was, and that was why he didn't make it down.” Kim and Reggie began dating back in 2007 and were together for two years before splitting in late 2009. The pair got back together again a few months later, but in March 2010, amid rumours that Reggie begrudged Kim's publicity-driven lifestyle, the pair split again, this time for good. Kim then began dating New Jersey Jest player Kris, in December 2010. "Kris is a great guy, and I really like him,” Kim's stepdad, Bruce Jenner, told Life & Style. "He's just different for Kim. He's just a solid guy from Minnesota. There doesn't seem to be too much drama with him. I think he's a good match for her.”
