The reality star greets Dubai with Arabic as she reveals how similar the nation is to her home. Kim Kardashian wasted no time getting to grips with Arabic culture during her first trip the Middle East.Greeting the nation's media at a press conference yesterday morning, she launched straight into the Arabic greetings she'd spent a morning practising before gushing about the people of Dubai and all the city has to offer."I managed to find someone in the hotel to teach me some words in Arabic which was great," said the reality star. "It was really cool and everyone was like ‘oh my God, how do you know that?' It's been really fun," added the 30-year-old."Before I came here, I really thought that there would be such a difference between home and here and to be honest I see so many similarities. I mean we were eating at Nobu Restaurant at the hotel and we all forgot where we were. We literally thought we were at home. To me it's disturbing that anyone would have a bad feeling about Middle Eastern people."Blown away by Dubai, Kardashian, accompanied by her mother, Kris Jenner, is in the UAE to launch the first Millions of Milkshakes store at Dubai Mall at 6.30pm today. The pair have already enjoyed meals at some of the country's top restaurants, have ventured into the desert and were planning a trip to old Dubai to witness some of the emirate's culture and heritage."There is so much opportunity here," said Kardashian. "We've got to start a hotel in Dubai and design all the different rooms. There were so many different things I was thinking of last night. It has been very easy and everyone has been so welcoming. I would love to bring my sisters here and film a season here. We could ‘take Dubai'," she added, referring to the name of one of her reality shows, Kourtney and Kim Take New York.Sheeraz Hasan, founder of Millions of Milkshakes, said Kim's visit was about more than the launch of a drink. "We want to bring local talent and designers to Hollywood. It's about embracing the local community. There aren't many people who can reach ten million on Twitter and seven million on Facebook. We want to make the UAE shine."
