Hollywood actress Melanie Griffith is to receive the CineMerit Award at the 30th Munich film festival next month, organizers said. The 54-year-old star of "Lolita," "Celebrity," "Something Wild" and "Pacific Heights" -- who won a supporting actress Oscar for "Working Girl" -- is to pick up the lifetime achievement award at a July 3 ceremony. "Melanie Griffith embodies Hollywood more than any other actress of her generation," festival director Diane Iljine said in a statement Tuesday. "She is an international star with a glamorous as well as eventful career." The world premiere of her latest film, "The Grief Tourist," is to take place at the festival.
