Britain's Prince William is "very keen" to start a family. The future king tied the knot with his fiancée Catherine Middleton at Westminster Abbey in London in April last year. There has been a great deal of speculation surrounding when the couple will have children. William admits he struggles with the attention placed on their family plans. "It is quite strange reading about it, but I try not to let it bother me. But I'm just very keen to have a family and both Catherine and I are looking forward to having a family in the future," he said during an interview for US TV special The Jubilee Queen with Katie Couric. When pressed on whether there is any baby news he wanted to share, William replied: "You won't get anything out of me. Tight-lipped." The 29-year-old prince was also quizzed on his career plans. William is currently a pilot with the Royal Air Force. He is unsure whether he will take another tour of duty or leave the military and commit to full-time royal obligations. "I'm still trying to decide. It's a really difficult one because I really enjoy my time in the Air Force and I'd love to continue it," he explained. "But the pressures of my other life are building. And fighting them off, or balancing the two of them, has proven quite difficult. "More importantly, I'd rather like to have children. So that's the key thing really." William also spoke about his wedding. He revealed that he managed to keep calm before the high-profile nuptials by "cracking some very bad jokes" with his brother, Prince Harry, before Catherine arrived at Westminster Abbey.
