A Los Angeles city attorney wants a jury in rapper Kanye West's battery case to see videos of four instances in which he attacked paparazzi, TMZ reported. West is on trial for allegedly assaulting photographer Daniel Ramos July 19 outside Los Angeles International Airport. The rapper was charged with misdemeanor battery and attempted grand theft after the fight, during which video footage appears to show West grabbing Ramos and pushing him to the ground. Ramos said his right hip was injured in the incident. A Los Angeles city attorney, whose name wasn't reported, requested to show a jury video footage of four other instances in which West allegedly attacked photographers in order to show the rapper has a habit acting violently toward the paparazzi, TMZ reported. The instances include video footage of West appearing to yell at photographers, accusing them of trespassing at his Hollywood Hills home at 4 a.m. local time Friday; grab the camera of a photographer he told not to talk to him July 12; yell at a photographer after the rapper ran into a metal sign March 10 in Beverly Hills; and become violent with a photographer at Los Angeles International Airport Sept. 11, 2008. Charges were filed and later dropped in the airport incident. Under California law, a judge may allow the prosecutor to show the jury "prior bad acts" if they're related to the case in question.
