Kourtney Kardashian's boyfriend Scott Disick has reportedly refused to check into the rehab facility his pseudo mother-in-law Kris Jenner picked out for him.
Sources close to the family tell Radar Online that Jenner has been "researching rehab facilities that would be a good fit for Scott," but the 31-year-old businessman refuses to go as he favors "getting outpatient treatment" for his problem.
"Everyone knows Scott has a problem with alcohol, including himself," said the source, adding Jenner has already found a place in Arizona where "a bed could be ready for Scott with less than 48 hours of notice."
But it appears that Disick "is refusing to go."
"He truly believes rehab isn't the answer, and has talked about getting outpatient treatment," said the insider. "In his mind, Scott is strong enough to beat this on his own, and doesn't need to go to rehab, so everyone is in a holding pattern."
Reports that the reality star is dealing with alcohol abuse issues began in the summer when he was kicked out of his rental home in the Hamptons by Kardashian. A preview of his girlfriend's new reality series Kourtney & Khloe Take The Hamptons even features a scene where she tells him: "Unless you want to be sober, then I don't want you here."
Disick and Kardashian have been together since 2007 and have two children together. Mason Dash Disick born in December 2009 and Penelope Scotland Disick born in July 2012. Kardashian confirmed her third pregnancy on the ninth season premiere of Keeping Up With The Kardashians in early June. Disick has reportedly vowed to stay sober until the baby is born.
