Selena Gomez
Los Angeles - UPI

Selena Gomez took to Twitter Sunday to explain what really happened during the car accident she was involved in over the weekend.

The 21-year-old pop singer was pulling out of a 7-Eleven parking lot on Sunday when her BMW SUV was scratched in a fender bender incident. Gomez took to Twitter soon after to blame paparazzi for the accident.
Only I'd get into an accident because of men with cameras who have great careers and offer the couple a package at Burke Williams. Oh LA.— Selena Gomez (@selenagomez) August 3, 2014
Page Six reports nobody was hurt in the accident and Gomez and the driver of the car she hit exchanged numbers after the incident. It is unclear if the other vehicle was also damaged during the incident.
