Arab Idol judge Ragheb Alame says he will be back for the second season. We've received a few tweets asking about whether Ragheb Alame will be returning to Arab Idol for a second season. A number of Arab entertainment news websites have suggested this week that the Lebanese superstar is on his way out of MBC's hit talent TV competition after failing to get along with Emirati singer and fellow judge Ahlam. However, Alame confirmed to tabloid! that he is back for Season 2, saying: "I can confirm I have signed on with MBC. We're both happy. I am happy and MBC is happy. "Arab Idol has achieved ratings that channels only achieve during Ramadan. So right now, we feel like the sky is the limit, because the situation is very good for Arab Idol." Can we put the rumours to bed now, please? "I will never stop from being impressed with the modesty and natural beauty of Lebanese TV presenters." "Congratulations to du. YAS Arena and Flash Forum become du Arena and du Forum" Latched on? There's nothing worse than a struggling actor or singer making friends with a popular celebrity to get ahead. The latest victim is Joumana Mourad, who has allegedly fallen under the spell of 26-year-old Jordanian rapper Nasser Abu Lafi after the couple were spotted out and about recently. Sources have suggested that Abu Lafi — a former contestant on LBC's Star Academy — has declined recording deals in the hope he could land some major roles using Joumana for his contacts. We can't help but kind of believe this story. After all, this is the same guy who was shopping for a deal to reveal all behind the scenes gossip at Star Academy. From: Gulfnews
