Former rap mogul Marion "Suge" Knight was released from police custody in Los Angeles Wednesday morning after posting $20,000 bail, officials said. Police told the Los Angeles Times Knight was pulled over for a traffic violation near Beverly Hills, Calif., when it was discovered there was a warrant out for his arrest. The warrant was issued because Knight skipped a court appearance related to a citation for driving without a license. He was taken into custody and booked at the county jail, but released after he posted the bail, the Times said. Knight has an extensive police record which includes prison time for probation and parole violations, as well as assault. He also has been arrested on numerous drug and motor-vehicle charges.
