Syfy says it will start airing the 13-episode second season of the Canadian time-traveling police drama series "Continuum" this June. "New episodes of 'Continuum' pick up after the gripping Season 1 finale when Kiera Cameron [played by Rachel Nichols] fought a ticking clock to prevent a cataclysmic act of terrorism," the cable network said in a news release Tuesday. "Cameron is a cop from the future who finds herself trapped in the present day, swept along when a group of fanatical terrorists escaped their planned execution in 2077 by vaulting back in time." The show co-stars Victor Webster as Detective Carlos Fonnegra and Erik Knudsen as teen tech genius Alec Sadler.
