At least two people were killed and 16 others injured when a bomb exploded near a government office in Pakistan's southwest Quetta city on Thursday, officials said. Nazir Ahmad, Senior Superintendent Police, said that the bomb went off near the National Database Registration Authority (NADRA) in downtown Quetta, the capital of Balochistan province. He said that the bomb fixed to a bicycle parked near the NADRA building was detonated by a remote control device. The injured have been admitted to Civil Hospital Quetta where at least four of them are in critical condition. No group has claimed responsibility for the attack yet. Police cordoned off the site for investigation.
