At least five Libyan special forces were killed and 17 others injured during clashes in Benghazi with forces affiliated with the Shura Council of Benghazi Revolutionaries.

In statements to MENA on Tuesday, spokesman for army special forces Miloud al Zawi said the victims were moved to the hospital for medical treatment.

The injuries are minor, moderate and severe. Necessary first aid was provided to the wounded, he added.

Meanwhile, fierce clashes early Tuesday near a cement factory in Benghazi left four terrorists dead, while three military vehicles were destroyed.
