Eight civilians sustained shrapnel injuries in a random mortar attack on "Land Zwawah" area near the headquarters of the General Company for Water and Sanitation Services in Benghazi city.
In statements to MENA on Monday, Fadia al Barghathi, the spokeswoman for Benghazi's Al-Jala hospital, said that eight persons were admitted to hospital suffering shrapnel wounds.
Some of them were discharged from hospital after receiving medical treatment, she added.
