At least two guards have been killed in an attack by former Libyan revolutionary forces on the interim government’s headquarters in Tripoli over suspended payments. The incident occurred on Tuesday when gunmen on trucks loaded with anti-aircraft guns surrounded the building in central Tripoli before opening fire. The attack comes less than a month after the ruling National Transitional Council (NTC) suspended payouts to those who fought against slain ruler Muammar Gaddafi.
