Baghdad - Arab Today

Twenty-nine Daesh terrorists were killed when the Iraqi air force launched an air raid on Mosul city in Nineveh governorate, Al Arabiya quoted a security source as saying on Sunday.

The source added that 29 Daesh terrorists were killed while two booby-trapped vehicles and another armored one were destroyed in Al Ba'aj district in the city.

Iraqi joint forces continue a military operation to regain the areas controlled by Daesh terrorist group in Nineveh governorate, the source further said.

Meanwhile, a suicide bomber blew himself up near a checkpoint in Baqubah in which three people were killed while 10 others were injured.

Security forces cordoned off the area while the injured people were moved to a nearby hospital to receive medical treatment.
