Iraqi forces foil suicide attack in Makhmur
Baghdad - MENA
Iraqi security forces thwarted a terrorist attack by four suicide bombers near a district in Makhmur town in northern Iraq, the war media cell of the Joint Operations Command said in a statement on Tuesday.
The Iraqi troops tasked with liberating Nineveh governorate have killed three Daesh militants who tried to blow themselves up near the post of 15th Division forces in Makhmur town, the statement added.
A fourth suicide bomber blew himself up with no casualties reported among the Iraqi troops, the statement asserted.
