Iraqi troops launched on Thursday a military operation to liberate a road linking between Haditha and Biji areas of Anbar province from the terrorist Daesh group.
A military spokesman said the road is used by Daesh militants to attack the recently-liberated area of Haditha.
After controlling the road, it will be easy to cut off supplies coming from Saladin governorate to Daesh terrorists, the spokesman added.
