Daesh militants have posted amateur footage online showing men burning fields of what they claim to be marijuana plants, the Daily Telegraph reported.
The video shows men cutting down the plants from a large field, making a number of piles, then dousing them with flammable liquid and setting the plants alight.
The Syrian observatory for human rights reported on the 13th of August that Daesh had captured several towns and villages from rival groups in the Syrian province of Aleppo.
Daesh has unleashed a bloody wave of repression in Syria, conducting mass executions, threats and house demolitions.
