At least 72 people, including seven children and four women, were killed in air andground operations carried out across Syria on Tuesday by forces loyal to PresidentBashar al-Assad's regime, opposition activists have claimed.The London-based Syrian Network for Human Rights watchdog said on Wednesdaythat 25 were killed in Idlib, 13 in the suburbs of Damascus, 12 in Aleppo, 10 in Homs,four in Daraa, three in Deir-ez Zor, two in both Haseke and Latakia, and one inHama.Meanwhile, Syrian government's official news agency SANA claimed security forces"neutralized" a large number of armed groups during operations in Aleppo, Idlib,Latakia and Homs.More than 100,000 people have been killed during the ongoing three-year conflict inSyria, which has also internally displaced more than 6.5 million people, according tothe UN.More than two million Syrians are now registered as refugees in neighboringcountries, including Turkey, Lebanon, Jordan and Iraq.
