Syrian army destroys a net of tunnels in Joubar

 Army units tightened grip on terrorists Tuesday, carrying out large-scaled operations against their hideouts and gatherings in several areas around the country.
Army units foiled an attempt by terrorists to infiltrate from the direction of Samlin into the southeastern part of Zamrin town and repel other terrorists who tried to infiltrate into a military post in Nawa town in the countryside of the southern province of Daraa, leaving numbers of them dead and wounded.
An army unit also destroyed a den of terrorists in Inkhel town in the countryside, killing a number of them, in addition to destroying three armored vehicles and a heavy mortar which were inside the den.
A Military source told SANA that the Army advanced in Joubar, Damascus countryside controlled a number of residential buildings and destroyed a net of tunnels where terrorists have been taking as havens.
Meany terrorists were killed and injured according to the source.
SANA reporter quoted a military source as saying that an army unit targeted a gathering of terrorists in Khan al-Sheeh and its farms in Damascus Countryside.
Terrorists who attempted to infiltrate from al-Khammara in Khan al-Sheeh farms into al-Salam highway in were repelled, with a number of them getting killed.
A military source said the army targeted terrorists’ hideouts and gatherings in Jobar, Ein Tarma and al-Dikhanyeh, killing a number of terrorists and destroying their weaponry.
Meanwhile, a Military source told SANA that the Army targeted a gathering for Jabhat al-Nusra organization in Khan al-Jouz and Bradoun dam in Lattakia countryside, killing many terrorists and destroying three vehicles equipped with weapons and ammunition.
In the countryside of the southern province of Quneitra, units of the armed forces killed and injured many terrorists after targeting their gatherings in the surrounding of Tal al-Mal, Tal Mas’hara, in the surrounding of Um Batina Mosque, to the east of Deir Maker and in the village of al-Khazrajiyeh, according to the source.
Another army unit attacked a gathering of terrorists’ vehicles in the town of Um Batina, destroying six cars and killing all terrorists aboard.
The army also targeted Jabhet al-Nusra gatherings in Nabe’a al-Sakhir and Mashara in Quneitra countryside, killing a number of terrorists and destroying their weapons and ammunition.
Army units killed several terrorists, injured others and destroyed several of their vehicles in a number of towns and villages in the countryside of the central province of Homs.
A military source told SANA that army units targeted hideouts of terrorists in Sheikh Ibrahim al Hakim area in al-Rastan town, Aqrab village in al-Houla, Um Sharshouh village, al-Hilaliyeh farm, Tal Abu al-Sanasel and Haret al-Badu area and in areas in Palmyra in the countryside of the province.
The source confirmed that many terrorists were killed and others got injured in the operations, in addition to destroying four vehicles equipped with heavy machine guns and a mortar launcher.
An army unit killed many terrorists, injured others and destroyed one of their vehicles in Rasem al-Arnab, eastern of Massoudiyeh and Onq al- Hawa in the eastern countryside of the province.
Army units targeted gatherings of terrorists to the east of Deir Hafer, Abla, Turkman Bareh, al-Zerbeh, al-Salhiyeh farm, al-Jabboul, Oweija, al-Mallah farms, Kabbarah, al- Khaldiyeh and Saif al-Dawla  in the city and countryside of the northern province of Aleppo, a military source said.
The source told SANA reporter that the operations in the aforementioned areas resulted in the killing of many of the terrorists and the destruction of several vehicles equipped with heavy machine guns which the terrorists were using.
Meanwhile, other army units killed numbers of terrorists near the Central Prison in Aleppo, while two vehicles equipped with heavy machine guns and an ammunition cache were destroyed in al-Jbeiliyeh in the countryside.
More terrorists were killed to the west of al-Nairab bridge in the countryside of the province.
the army units killed a number of terrorists in Saraqeb, Khan Sheikhoun, Maarat al-Numan and Jabal al-Arba’een in Idleb countryside.
A military source told SANA that the army targeted terrorists’ gatherings in Kafr Laha, Kafr Najd, Fayloun, Shaflah, Tal Dineit, Qaminas, Abu al-Dohour, Talab, al-Houta, and Qala al-Ghazal in Idleb countryside, eliminating a number of terrorists in the process.
