After five years fighting illness, actor Said Abdul Kareem “Zainhom Al-Samahy” passed away on Saturday noon. The funeral was held on Saturday at the al-Noor mosque in Abassiya. The 76-year-old was a professor in agriculture. He started his career through a television show. His first taste of fame was after he met the writer Osama Anwar Okasha where they worked in many TV series like “Al-Shahd w Al-Demoea”, “Laialy Al-Helmia”, “Ahalina” , “Afarit Al-Siala” and “Caneria and co”. He suffered a heart attack five years ago because of a role he didn’t get. Later on he acted in “The Friends” with Salah Al-Saadany and Farouk Al-Fishawy. Three years back things returned to normal between him and Oksha. His last appearance was in “Al-Masrawia” with Okasha and “Kalb Mait”.
