Egyptian actor Adel Imam will participate in the Arabic drama festival, scheduled on March 30, with his series "Naji Atallah Band "which hit the highest viewer rate in Ramadan, two years ago. The series producers addressed the festival administration for participation, Mohamed Arab head of the Arabic Drama Festival told MENA. More than 50 works will participate in the festival to pick the best work for the year 2013, and to honor the best dramas over the past years, he added. He explained that the festival administration aims to encourage good dramas of all Arab countries. TV drama plays a major role in promoting tourism through being shot in the most prominent tourist attractions that reflect civilization and history of each country, as the festival is held under the slogan "Drama is culture, civilization and history of nations," added Arab. The festival is honorary headed by Mohamed Sobhi, and the festival arbitration committee includes Amr Abdeen, Mahmoud Kabil, Mohamed El Ghaity and Magda Morris.
