Actor Karim Fahmy revealed that " Karam" character in the series "El Hesab Yegma3" is a very important step in his artistic career, especially as it is a completely new character to him. For the first time, he offers such a role in an artwork. He pointed out he was nominated for this character by director Hany Khalifa, producer Gamal Al-Adar and Sinarist Dr. Medhat Al-Adl.
Karim announced, in interview with Arabs Today, that he very enthusiastic to play this role because it is completely different from all other roles he has provided during the last period, adding that this was the mean reason for participating in this series. The actor added that he found all factors to help to succeed strongly in Karam character.
Regarding his cooperation with actress Yousra, Fahmy expressed his pleasure for participating with great actress Yousra. He clarified he was afraid of acting before her at first, adding that she broke all the barriers and restrictions that concern him from acting with her in the first meeting. He stressed that actress Yousra takes care of all participants with her as well as helping them to appear in a good and distinctive manner.
Regarding his fear of presenting Karam character, Fahmy clarified he plays any role especially as he does not want to escape from confrontation, on the contrary is always keen to challenge himself in his roles. He also expressed his happiness for positive reactions of his fans about Karam character.
On his participation in "Reeh El Madam" series, with his brother Ahmed Fahmy, he said the he did not hesitate to participate with his brother and agreed take part with him for the first time. He expressed his pleasure to participate in the series, especially as he appeared in a strange and new comedian character.
He denied rumors about participating with actress Haifa Wahbe in a series, indicating that what happened was friendly negotiations and talks with her.
Regarding his film "Ali Baba", he clarified that they now in the preparations stage, adding that they did not set a date to begin filming so far.
