TV presenter Abdullah Badr’s lawyer has demanded the presence of Ilham Chahine in court during his trial on charges of libel and defamation. Egyptian actress Ilham Chahine filed a case against Sheikh Abdallah Badr of TV channel \'Al-Hafez\', the climax of a spat that has played out in the media. Badr demanded her attendance in court to answer the three questions that were put to her on the show which caused the lawsuit. He was accused of insulting and defaming the actress with questions such as \"How many men do you lie with in the name of art?\" Bader said before the second session in the trial that the media must investigate the matter but that he trusts in God\'s victory and has hopes that the judge is willing to pass judgment in Badr’s favor. He also asked the media to report the truth and not repeat “false” statements, adding that the media should \"Fear God.\" Sheikh Abdullah Badr also said that jihad was needed to liberate Gaza from the enemies of Islam, citing a speech of Prophet Mohamed: \"If people leave the jihad for Allah, God will humiliate them,\" he added that Muslims must unite so that the Zionist enemy can be expelled from Gaza.
