Egyptian singer Ehab Tawfik denied cancelling his concert in fear of Islamist attacks. This came following an Islamist attack at a concert in Meina. He said he cancelled the concert because of his mother’s health condition which forced him to travel abroad for her treatment. He said he is still outside Egypt and will be back mid-week when his mother’s health condition is more stable. Ehab Tawfik is currently recording songs for his new album, which he hopes to release next year.
