"Symphonica," British pop star George Michael's first album in seven years, is to be released next month, Island Records announced Tuesday. The CD is to drop March 18. Produced by Phil Ramone, the record was made during Michael's 2011-12 "Symphonica" concert tour of the United Kingdom and Europe. The first single released to support the album will be the ballad "Let Her Down Easy," the record label said. Ramone died in March 2013 at the age of 79.
