Lebanese singer George Wasoof denied what was published in a number of media channels and newspapers over his reconciliation with his ex-wife Nada Zidan, saying that what was published in this regard are unfounded rumors that extremely contradict with the facts.

He added, in a statement to “Arabs Today”, that his ex-wife still prevents him from seeing his daughter Oyoun who joined a nursery near to the house of her mother’s family.

Sources revealed, months ago, that the Qatari wife of Lebanese singer George Wasoof gained a judicial verdict allowing her custody of her daughter in addition to paying monthly expenses to support them.

According to the sources, Wasoof’s wife Nada Zidan refused to appear in an Egyptian TV program to talk about the problems with her husband, as she refused to give details about their difference to the media channels.

The sources added that the Qatari satellite channel of Al Jazeera was interested to conduct an interview with Zidan, while she refused as she preferred to keep silent. According to the verdict, the Lebanese singer will be banned from seeing his daughter
