Artist George Wassouf’s new album will be released by Rotana in a few days time. The company released Najwa Karam’s new album a few days earlier and is waiting for the right time to release George’s album, especially given that a press release will be held for the release of Najwa’s album. What is interesting about Wassouf’s album is that for the first time he collaborated with artist Ziad Bourji in several songs, and there is also a song written and composed by Yaser Jalal. On the other hand, it has been confirmed that George will be performing at the charity festival “For Egypt,” where a big line up of Arab artists will be taking part. The festival will be held at the Cairo Stadium from 21-24 July, and it aims to revive tourism in Egypt. Artists’ fees will be donated to charity. Some of the acts who will be performing include the huge artist Wadih El Safi, Najwa Karam, Fares Karam, Rowaida Ateyeh, Ehab Tawfiq, Shereen Abdelwahab, Asmaa Almonawar, Mohamed Fouad, Khalid Saleem, Saber Rebai, Samira Said, Hisham Abbas, Amal Hijazi, and Diana Karazon.
