Per her fans' request, actress and singer Hilary Duff re-released her music video for "Sparks" without all the Tinder clutter.
The original video, released May 14, could have been mistaken for an extended commercial for popular dating app Tinder. Many fans thought the "documentary" style of some scenes took away from what could have "been easily one of her best music videos," according to one YouTube commenter.
Duff released her "fan-demanded" music video for her new, club-worthy single Thursday in response to the overload of input from viewers. She tweeted, "I made this just for you guys!" alongside the reveal.
In one day, the raw-er version of the "Sparks" video earned over 350,000 views on YouTube and Vevo separately, as well as an overflow of positive feedback.
"I'm glad they released a version without tinder," said one commenter on YouTube. "This is so good."
