Egyptian actress Horia Farghali outraged guests at the opening ceremony of the Cairo Film Festival on Wednesday at the Opera House. Horia mispronounced words in a number of sentences, consequently the audience was abuzz with whispers that her choice as presenter of the ceremony was distinctly unsuccessful. The actor Amr Youssif was her co- host for the evening. A number of artists arrived wearing black dresses to mourn the martyrs of the nation while others including Boshra, Eman Sarksyan and Ferial Youssef wore colourful creations.
