Mariah Carey plans to release a new, surprise album. The 45-year-old pop diva plans to unveil the album's title, track listing, artwork and music all at once at some time in the near future. The album will initially be released online, and will debut in stores a week later. "I have to be the one that announces this," the singer tells Billboard. "Especially the title. [The name is taken from a] personal possession of mine that's part of an entity that I've had almost all my life." Carey admits that her most recent singles have failed to perform the way she had hoped. The surprise album -- her 14th studio release -- may help get her back on the right track. Frequent collaborators Rodney Jerkins and Jermaine Dupri have returned as producers, and Wale, Nas and Trey Songz will guest star. The tracks reportedly explore Carey's "feel-good, hip-hop/R&B side," and include introspective songs as well. "I will always make music," the singer asserts.
