Mariam Fakhreddine is known for her outrageous commentary and confessions. So, it came as no surprise when she told presenter Wael Elebrashi on the TV show “The Truth” that actress Nabila Obaid wishes she had married the former Egyptian Minister of Interior Habib Eladly. Nabila expressed her outrage at the marriage of Adly to German artist Anushka, calling her ‘low.’ When asked whether she believes Anushka would steal Adly’s money and hide it in Germany, Mariam responded; “although Anushka is wealthy it is very possible for her to take and hide his money, she’s very greedy.” The hostility towards Anushka probably comes from the fact that Anushka was married to and then divorced Mariam’s son Mohamed Eltawil, despite having a family of two children. Mariam accuses the artist of only marrying her son to get her hands on an Egyptian passport.
