Sources revealed that Lebanese singer Melhem Zein apologized for not participating in the opening of Damascus International Festival scheduled to be held during the coming days. The sources added that Singer Ayman Zabib is scheduled to replace him during the coming period.
The sources added, in a statement to “Arabs Today”, that many reasons are behind Zein’s decision, including the fears of security situation in Syrian during the current critical period. They revealed also that the Lebanese singer is related to another singing party during the same period of the festival.
The Lebanese singer faced a road accident during the recent period, as he was taken to the hospital in his country, as a truck veered off the road, and hit the his car while he was on his way to the concert.
