Cairo - Mohamed Alloush
Fans of Libyan actress Noor Alcadekke won’t have to wait too long to see her on screen. The starlet told Arabstoday in an exclusive interview that she is close to completing filming for the upcoming series, 100 Salama. Noor plays the role of a woman in post-revolution Libya who was forced to marry again after her former husband was jailed on corruption charges. Her character makes off with her ex’s money and re-marries a cosmetic surgeon. Things turn comical when the jailbird, the title character, Salama, learns of her betrayal, and is released from prison. The story takes you through a series of flashbacks that fill in the gaps. Ahmed Eid co-stars alongside Noor in this satirical drama and is written by Faisal Abdel Samad and directed by Hossam El Nabawy. 100 Salama will be competing in the Ramadan drama stakes as it is scheduled for release during the holy month in July.
