Cairo – Mohamed ELshinnawi
Egyptian actress Nabila Obaid has admitted that she very often lives moments of sadness because of the loneliness she feels; as she chose her career over a stable life and having children. Nabila said that this feeling often goes away when a new drama or film of hers achieves a huge success. The actress said that she adores the cinema and described it as her first love, pointing out that her TV work would never compensate for cinema work; even if it were sometimes a breather for her. The actress expressed sadness at the current state of cinema and hopes that it would return to the way it used to be, what she describes as the “nation’s conscience.” Additionaly, Obaid said that she has been thinking about writing a memoir for a while now; not because she wants to talk about people or her husbands but because there’s a lot of things she would like to tell her fans about. She has even enlisted the help of presenter Mahmoud Saad, but is going to postpone this project because of the current situation in Egypt. As for what went on between her and actress Mariam Fakhr Eddine, Nabila said that it was hardly anything but that the media blew it out of proportion as they usually do.
