Lebanese singer Pascale Machaalani has announced that she is working on a romantic Egyptian song to be released in \"Valentine\'s Day\". The video will be directed by a director whom she will work with for the first time. Machaalani said in an interview with \"Al-Seyassah\" newspaper that her new album was nearly ready and that she collaborated with a group of great composers and lyricists in the Arab world, saying: \"The album includes various songs, like Khaliji, Egyptian, Lebanese, Folklore and classic songs...I will surprise the audience with an Algerian melody \"Franco Arab\". It will be released next summer if the conditions are stable in Lebanon and the Arab world.\" Meanwhile, the singer revealed she received acting offers in Egypt, which she rejected, as they failed to meet her expectations saying: \"I do not want to play the role of just a pretty woman. I want to address humanitarian and social issues.\" Finally, she spoke of jealousy and envy are there in the entertainment community. \"At the beginning of my career, I faced a lot of obstacles...however, my success and talent made sure the schemes of my enemies were in vain.\"
