Syrian actress Raghda criticized the supervisors of “Beautiful Time” festival, saying that they attempted to prevent her from expressing her feelings.
She added, in a statement to “Arabs Today”, that they told her before her ascent to the platform not to talk about politics, expressing her astonishment over such instructions. She added, “I was not intending to give political lecture. No one has the right to control my vision or prevent me from expressing them.”
She added, “It is normal to express my resentment. It is my right as a human to express my opinion. I do not know the identity of those people who want to control my visions. I am Raghda, one of the symbols of beautiful Time, while they are a group of people aspiring to prevent us to express ourselves.”
