Egyptian actress Randa Al Buhairi is thanking God for the health of her only son, after the tot recently had a minor accident. She told Arabstoday in interview that the shock of seeing Yassin’s (her son) face covered in blood left her extremely worried about the seriousness of the injury. Yassin thankfully turned out to be fine, accidentally hurting himself in the house while playing. After calming down, the actress said she thanked God for protecting him always. In the meantime Randa says she is anxiously awaiting the debut of her new film Pussycat –in which she plays the lead role for the first time. The story revolves around the life of a girl who runs a beauty salon named Pussycat. The feature will be showing in cinemas May 15 and co-stars Hala Fakher, and Lotfy Labib. The film is written and directed by Alaa al Sharif, and distributed by Mohamed Hassan Ramzy. Fans of the actress will get a double-dose of her talent as Randa is also set to release another film soon, titled Princess. Ola Ghanem, Hossam Fares and Abdel Moneim Ibrahim co-star alongside Randa. Princess is written by Mustafa Subki and directed by Wael Abdul Qadir.
